Messerschmitt Art :: Aviation Prints
Messerschmitt produced many different aircraft for the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. Perhaps the most well known were the Me109 and Me110. We have a number of prints featuring these aircraft types, especially during the Battle of Britain period. Some of these prints are also signed by renowned Luftwaffe pilots who flew these aircraft, making them particularly rare.

A30 - Unteroffizier Ernst Poschenrieder - Raider - Messerschmitt Art
Unteroffizier Ernst Poschenrieder of 7/JG53 in combat with a Spitfire on Monday 30th September 1940. Shortly afterwards Ernst force landed his aircraft at Strood in Kent where he promptly taken prisoner. Each print is signed by Unteroffizier Ernst Poschenrieder

LE10 - Rooftop Pursuit - Messerschmitt Art
Hauptmann Horst Liensberger of Stab V.(Z.)/LG1 takes his Messerschmitt Bf110 down to rooftop level to try and shake off an RAF Hurricane, 27th September 1940. Out of ammunition, the Hurricane rammed the Bf110, killing Liensberger, his radio operator and the Hurricane pilot.
