Kampf um Norwegen

The print depicts Junkers Ju88A-1 (werk no. 088119) U4 + TK of KG/30 attacking the French Destroyer Emile-Bertin at Namsos, Norway on the 19th April, 1940. The Emile-Bertin was badly damaged by a bomb and was forced to limp home. This was one of the earliest successful anti-shipping attacks made from the air.

The print is a limited edition of just 250.

Horrido! ::

We are pleased to announce Geoff's latest pencil sketch:

Horrido




Unteroffizier Ernst Poschenrieder of 7/JG53 approaches the English coast on Monday 30th September 1940. Later this same day Ernst forced landed his Messerschmitt Bf 109E at Broom Hill, Strood, near Rochester after combat with R.A.F. fighters.

This is a limited edition of just 250.

Feldwebel Karl Straub of 7/JG26 force lands his Messerschmitt Bf109E at Goodnestone House Farm near Goodnestone, Kent on Wednesday 28th August 1940.

The One That Got Away ::

As a companion to our other prints featuring Gerald 'Stapme' Stapleton and Franz von Werra, Geoff has now added a new pencil sketch, Combat over Kent.

The caption reads:

Oberleutnant Franz von Werra flies for his life over the Kent Countryside pursued by Gerald "Stapme" Stapleton of 603 Squadron, Hornchurch. Franz von Werra eventually force landed at Loves Farm, Winchet Hill , Marden, and later became the only German airman to escape captivity and return to Germany.
