Lothar Mothes flew FW-189 reconnaisance aircraft with 1.(H)/32. He survived two weeks alone inside the Arctic Circle behind enemy lines after his aircraft was shot down on a mission near Murmansk.

Adjutant to the CO of III/JG2, Armin Faber achieved the dubious honour of being the man who handed Allied Intelligence a brand new FW-190 fighter after he mistakenly landed at RAF Pembury in June 1942.
IN16 - Oberleutnant Ulrich Steinhilper
Battle of Britain ace with I./JG52, Ulrich Steinhilper was captured on 27 October 1940. He became famed for his many escape attempts from Allied PoW camps in Canada.
